Education for sustainable development (ESD) is an important strategic agenda for universities. This paper analyses and showcases the latest ESD trends and practice at LERU universities. The main topics discussed are LERU universities’ experience with, practical examples of and lessons learned about the development and implementation of strategies and policies, curricular, extracurricular and life-long learning, as well as staff mobilisation and training.
