Launch event - TTO Advice Paper
13 February 2012
The League of European Research Universities is pleased to invite you to the launch event of its 10th advice paper: ‘The TTO, a university engine transforming science into innovation’.
Europe has placed its hope in innovation to conquer the economic crisis and to secure its position in the global economy. Universities play a particular role in the innovation process and crucial for that role are the universities’ technology transfer offices, as investigated in the new LERU paper. The paper aims at helping policy makers within and outside academia to better support the operation and development of these offices and to better understand the nature of the universities’ contribution to the innovation process. LERU also hopes the paper can act as a source of inspiration for universities that are in the process of setting up a TTO.
LERU invites you to discuss the paper with policy makers and stakeholders on Monday 13 February 2012 in Brussels.
